As a part of NFT.NYC 2022 conference, Coinbase celebrated the launch of their NFT trading platform with a physical art gallery experience in the Chelsea arts district.
The expression of the brand and interactive elements were intended to bring people into the physical world of a "FUTURE MARKET".
Working with RedPaperHeart for tech and video development, we blended the "Future Market" brand language of the event and the logic from the Coinbase NFT app into one seamless evolving art gallery.
Guests were able to login to a custom designed app, print out a unique wearable sticker with QR, and approach any video screen to upload their art. Additionally, guests profile names and collections were automatically uploaded to the gallery grid view.
THE COINBASE MINT
To celebrate Coinbase's NFT marketplace, we created the "mint", were guests could upload one of their NFT artworks to be laser etched onto a metal coin, complete with a unique QR code to view the art digitally. Each coin was branded with Future Market graphics and delivered in a custom iridescent box.
